Leona Ogo Devin, M.S.T.O.M., L.Ac., graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine with a Masters in Science degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine. She is licensed to practice in the state of New York after completing the state qualifying exams issued by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).  Areas of study included Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Western and Eastern Nutrition, Tui na massage, Anatomy and Physiology, Western disease conditions, and Clinical/hands-on experience in the school's on-campus clinic  with over 300 patients. Further experience was gained at off-campus clinics at The Fortune Society in Queens and Montefiore Medical Clinic in the Bronx where patients were treated for addiction and pain management.

 

 

Leona's experience in health care began over 30 years ago when she earned her Dental Assisting certification in California. She then relocated to New Jersey where she returned to school and earned an Associate Science degree at Bergen Community College in Dental Hygiene.  She retired from her Dental Hygiene practice in 2022. This has allowed her to devote full time to her acupuncture practice.
